Straight Out The Mudd

Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey but now residing in Philadelphia, this talented individual has been pursuing a career in rap since 2018. Going by the stage name Sotm, which stands for Straight Out the MuDD, he has already achieved notable accomplishments in his journey. He had the opportunity to open for renowned artists such as Gorilla Zoe at SXSW and Amy Luciano from Love and Hip Hop.

His music has taken him to various cities across the United States, including St. Louis, Atlanta, Arkansas, Orlando, Miami, West Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. With a string of upcoming shows, he is currently in the midst of a Midwest tour alongside the DJ coalition. Additionally, he is also preparing for a tour alongside the talented artist Jacquees.

Excitingly, he has been chosen to open for Bobby Shmurda in October, adding another milestone to his growing career. Hip hop has played a significant role in his life, serving as an outlet for expression. Being a male, finding a diary or a means to express emotions can be challenging, but music has allowed him to convey his thoughts and feelings in a catchy and captivating manner. His verses become a reflection of his experiences, whether it be addressing those who have upset him or expressing happiness towards those who make him joyful.

In addition to his musical pursuits, he holds the position of the middle sibling among his five siblings, adding a unique dynamic to his life.
