Tookah Da Don, an artist hailing from Newark, NJ, has a compelling background. Raised in a large household with six siblings on his father's side and three on his mother's, he was primarily brought up by his father while gradually establishing a connection with his mother over time. From a young age, Tookah always had a microphone in hand, emulating his favorite artists. His initial inspirations stemmed from the likes of Michael Jackson, and as he grew older, he found himself drawn to the musical styles of DMX, 50 Cent, and Tupac.
Music served as Tookah's first true passion. Following his college years in Milwaukee, he returned to the East Side and reunited with a group of friends. However, it wasn't until his homecoming to NJ in 2018 that he truly began making waves on grand stages, intensifying his recording efforts, and releasing his music to the world. A pivotal moment came when he crossed paths with Joeblyfe at Henny Sundays in 2019, leading to his recruitment into the hottest group in Jersey, known as The Foundation.
